MAGGIE - SALES AND PARTNERSHIPS
1. WHAT DID YOU LOVE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
I have never felt so confident in my body then when I was pregnant, I felt amazing and the feeling that came with growing our baby was unreal, I often miss it.
2. WHAT DID YOU LOATHE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
I really struggled with intrusive thoughts during my 2nd pregnancy, which was horrible, this is something I loathed. In general, the effect it has on your mental state certainly makes things challenging at time.
3. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MAMA?
This is a hard one as for me there are so many. Aside from having the deepest feeling of love and proudness, being a mum has made we really understand what is important in life. Life through the eyes of children is so much simpler, they get joy out of the smallest things, there is no comparing and so much self-love I am constantly relearning from them.
4. WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVISE FOR A TTC/EXPECTING/NEW MAMA?
The days are long but the years are short cherish every moment for they pass by in a blink of an eye.
YASMIN - FINANCE AND OPERATIONS

The tiny kicks, knowing we would be meeting a new tiny human soon, getting special treatment.
2. WHAT DID YOU LOATHE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
Morning sickness, pelvic pain in the late stages, reflux, the worry that came with it (i.e. not really feeling like everything would be ok until they had safely arrived).
3. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MAMA?
The way your kids look at you and reach for you like you are their whole world.
4. WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVISE FOR A TTC/EXPECTING/NEW MAMA?
There will be some good days and bad days, enjoy those precious moments as they fly by so quick (and when you are in the trenches of the bad ones, remember that this too will pass).
ABBEY - MARKETING AND DESIGN
1. WHAT DID YOU LOVE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
The idea of growing a new life, and how special that actually is. Underneath the wavering self-confidence there was actually a deep sense of appreciation as my body changed. The connection and the anticipation of finally meeting my baby made the whole experience incredibly special.
2. WHAT DID YOU LOATHE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
Gestational diabetes, it made me feel as though I wasn’t doing enough to keep myself or my baby healthy. Looking back, I understand that it wasn’t something I could control completely, but the burden of feeling like I had somehow let my baby down was heavy.
3. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MAMA?
Watching them thrive in their own individual way. The unfiltered, unwavering confidence. The little moments we share every day. Their cute little baby giggles, the way they snuggle up for bedtime stories, or their proud smiles when they show me their latest creations.
4. WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVISE FOR A TTC/EXPECTING/NEW MAMA?
Soak it ALL in. The highs and the lows. And always reflect with kindness towards yourself. You are doing your best.
SAMMY - STUDIO AND WAREHOUSE
1. WHAT DID YOU LOVE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
The ‘butterflies’ in the second trimester… & not having to hold my stomach in.
2. WHAT DID YOU LOATHE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
The back ache, and swollen feet – relatable for many Mamas I’m sure!
3. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MAMA?
There are so many things, my babies are now both teenagers, but I still LOVE the cuddles - and am lucky enough to still get them.
4. WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVISE FOR A TTC/EXPECTING/NEW MAMA?
Have a pattern, not a strict time routine.
LARA - CO-FOUNDER, CEO AND OVERSEE'R OF ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.
1. WHAT DID YOU LOVE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
I loved that initial stage of finding out I was pregnant and feeling like I was walking around carrying my own little miracle. I know not everyone’s journey starts like this which is tough, but it was a highlight for me for sure…until the morning sickness and fatigued really kicked in. That was the longest 2 months of my life.
2. WHAT DID YOU LOATHE ABOUT PREGNANCY?
Oh god. So much. I found it tough both mentally and physically. I had Gestational Diabetes twice and an array of sickness throughout pregnancy. There would have only been a couple of weeks in the second trimester that I really enjoyed.
3. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MAMA?
As a mama of 2 now, I absolutely love seeing the bond grow between by 2 kiddies. The conversations they have are both adorable and hilarious. I also love watching them learn new things, especially things that we take for granted like being able to wash your own hair, or butter bread yourself, or brush your own teeth. These little accomplishments light kids up and make me so proud to be able to watch them grow.
4. WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVISE FOR A TTC/EXPECTING/NEW MAMA?
Take photos of yourself pregnant. You don’t need to share them, but they are so amazing to look back on. Trust me. You will not regret it!
