Last updated: August, 2026

Pure Mama LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”) takes our privacy obligations seriously. In this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” refers to the individual providing Personal Information to us. Personal Information is information that can be used to identify an individual or is linked to an identified individual.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose your Personal Information. By using our website us.puremama.com (“this website”) you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Pure Mama operates a distribution center in California and ships products throughout the United States. We are committed to complying with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number. If you sign up to our Rewards Programme we collect your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth.

When you browse our store, we also automatically collect certain information including cookies, your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited, in order to improve your experience on our website.

Because our products relate to pregnancy and the postpartum period, information you provide or that can be inferred from your purchases may indicate health-related characteristics (such as pregnancy status). Under the CPRA this may constitute “sensitive personal information.” We use such information only as necessary to provide the products and services you request and for the limited purposes permitted by law, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you for any other purpose. See Section 10 for your right to limit our use of sensitive personal information.

SECTION 2 – HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We collect your Personal Information when you provide it to us directly, such as when you sign up for an account, the Rewards Programme, or marketing communications, when you make an enquiry, add items to your cart, or confirm a product order. We also collect information automatically through your use of our website.

We also use social media services such as Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter). Your use of these third-party services is entirely optional. We may collect and use information you make publicly available on those platforms for the purposes of our business. All such third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies, for which we are not responsible.

Please do not provide us with Personal Information about other individuals unless you have obtained their prior consent to do so.

SECTION 3 – HOW DO WE OBTAIN YOUR CONSENT?

When you provide us with Personal Information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange a delivery, or process a return, you are consenting to our collection and use of that information for that purpose.

If we ask for your Personal Information for a secondary reason, such as marketing communications, we will ask for your express consent or provide you with an opportunity to opt out, as required by applicable law.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link within those emails, or by contacting us at hello@puremama.com.

SECTION 4 – HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

+    To communicate with you if you sign up to be a product tester.
+    To conduct our business, analyse customer data, and improve your experience on our website.
+    To undertake customer surveys.
+    To comply with our legal obligations or enforce our Terms of Service.
+    To detect, investigate, or prevent fraud or security issues.

SECTION 5 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your Personal Information collected through this website is disclosed to Shopify and stored in their data storage and databases in compliance with industry standards. You can review Shopify’s Privacy Statement at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).

Shopify may share your Personal Information with third parties where necessary to prevent illegal activity, comply with legal obligations, or where we have authorised the transfer.

SECTION 6 – OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use third-party service providers to facilitate payment, deliver products, and send marketing communications. These providers will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform their services.

Some of our service providers may store or process your Personal Information outside the United States. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure your information continues to be protected consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We will not authorise any third parties to use your Personal Information for their own purposes, except where required to enforce their legal rights or comply with their legal obligations.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, your credit card data is stored only with that third-party payment gateway and is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

SECTION 7 – AUTOMATED CHAT ASSISTANT

We offer an automated chat assistant on our website to help answer your questions and provide customer support. When you interact with the chat assistant, you are communicating with an automated service rather than a human, although you may request to be connected with a member of our team. The chat assistant is provided by our customer-service platform, Gorgias, which processes the content of your chat messages and related information (such as your name and email address) as a service provider on our behalf, in order to operate the chat service and respond to your enquiry. We do not use the content of your chat messages to train third-party artificial intelligence models. Any Personal Information you provide through the chat assistant is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

+    To detect, investigate, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues.
+    In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your Personal Information may be transferred to the new owners.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide our products and services, or as required to meet legal obligations. In determining how long to retain your information, we consider the nature of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, and any legal, accounting, or tax requirements. We will not hold your Personal Information longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

SECTION 13 – FINANCIAL INCENTIVE NOTICE
